Friends and Family,
We received an update from our Bethany caseworker explaining that a change in Ukrainian law made it possible for this other family to begin adopting Anastasia. We were assured that the orphanage director did all she could to prevent this.
We're heartbroken. We're going to try one last appeal to the family, via letters to both the family and the judge presiding over the case. If that doesn't work (unlikely), it will be over.
Please pray for us.
